An Absolutely True Story Information

Written by Ian McWethy, An Absolutely True Story (As Told by a Bunch of Lying Liars) promises to be a new favorite. Directed by Shera Long, the play begins when someone breaks the priceless heirloom vase in the Peterson living room. Someone is about to be in enormous trouble… but who? The show follows the mystery revolving around who broke the vase and the lies told by each of the suspects. The family’s children and their friends are all suspects, each with their own preposterous account of the unfortunate event.

Good luck holding in your chuckles as you’re regaled by the suspects’ accounts, each one more outlandish than the last. Follow warring siblings Fred and Kelly, their deeply weird friends Barney and Ava, and the family dog (according to the dog whisperer) as they each prove their case. An Absolutely True Story is a hilarious whodunit adventure that you won’t want to miss!
