Linn Post & Pipe Brings Holiday Magic to Creighton’s SantaLand
The holidays are a special time in Creighton, Nebraska, and Linn Post & Pipe is proud to help make the season brighter through our involvement with SantaLand. This beloved annual Christmas light display, located in Bruce Park, transforms our community into a dazzling winter wonderland throughout December. Since 2021, Linn Post & Pipe has been an active participant in creating the magic of SantaLand. From setting up displays to hosting Santa’s Workshop and Mrs. Claus’s Gingerbread House, we are honored to play a role in bringing joy to families in Creighton and beyond.
What is SantaLand?
SantaLand isn’t just a light display—it’s an experience. Every December, Bruce Park comes alive with an array of outdoor displays and festive decorations. Many of these were originally donated by local residents in 1995. This tradition has grown over the years, with new additions and updates that ensure every visit feels magical.
At the heart of SantaLand is Santa’s Workshop and Mrs. Claus’s Gingerbread House. Here, visitors can watch sixteen motorized elves busily preparing for Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Claus are on hand to meet with visitors, spreading holiday cheer and listening to wish lists. Local businesses and organizations provide refreshments, offering warm drinks and treats that add to the festive atmosphere. Linn Post & Pipe’s Role in SantaLand
As a business rooted in Creighton, Linn Post & Pipe values the connections we’ve built with our neighbors, customers, and fellow community members. We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for so long. That’s why, since 2021, our team has volunteered countless hours to help set up the displays in Bruce Park. From assembling lights to ensuring every detail is just right, we’re proud to contribute to the magic that defines SantaLand.
In addition to our behind-the-scenes efforts, we also host Santa’s Workshop on one special night each season. Visitors can step into Mrs. Claus’s Gingerbread House and enjoy refreshments provided by our team. We make sure there’s something for everyone—delicious treats for the little ones and warm drinks for the adults. Seeing the joy on visitors’ faces as they take in the sights, sounds, and tastes of the season is the highlight of our year.
A Community Tradition
SantaLand is more than just a holiday event; it’s a testament to the power of community. Volunteers from all walks of life come together to bring this tradition to life. They dedicate over 2,000 hours each year to setting up and maintaining the displays. From toddlers to retirees, everyone plays a role in making SantaLand a success. The SantaLand Committee, along with The Creighton Area Chamber of Commerce, lead the charge, but it’s the contributions of local businesses, organizations, and individuals that keep the magic alive.
