Summer Time Fun at Linn Post

The Linn Post & Pipe team is busy this summer! Join us for some summer time fun at the annual Linn Picnic on July 11th and 12th. At the annual Linn Picnic, there are plenty of activities that can spark the interest of anyone attending. 

Friday, July 11th Activities

To kick off the “Summer Time Fun” festivities on Friday, July 11th, take the kids to Linn City Park. There will be a petting zoo, multiple business-sponsored kids games, and bounce houses sponsored by Linn Post & Pipe. Then fuel up at the pulled pork supper before heading to the ball diamonds to watch the Co-ed Softball Tournament. It begins at 6:00pm and costs $200 per team to participate. Then, end the night at the DJ Bingo Party featuring Dave Lewis.

Saturday, July 12th Activities

Events on Saturday, July 12th starts at 8:00am with a breakfast in the East Shelter House. At the same time, games will also continue for the Co-ed Softball Tournament. Kids can grab their fishing poles and head to Que Herrs Pond from 9:00am through 10:30am. Then at 11:00am, the Corn Hole Tournament begins on the basketball court. Registration begins at 10:30am and costs $40 per team. After a busy morning, take a break with the German Meal at 11:00am in the East Shelter House. 

Saturday afternoon starts with the Road Rally at noon. It’s $30 per vehicle and all proceeds benefit the Fire Department. At 1:00pm, the Creamery Museum opens to the public, and free swim is available at the city pool for a chance to cool off. Don’t miss out on a variety of food truck options at 4:00pm, including Fire & Ice, Kill Creek Craft BBQ, TCB Street Eats, and Off My Rocker, before heading to the “Summer Time Fun” parade beginning at 5:00pm. Residents can enjoy Powerwheels at 6:15pm before the Demolition Derby at 6:30pm. Finally, end the night with a concert featuring Soul Preachers at 9:00pm.
